About
Local commerce, made easier to run.
Vendio helps local businesses sell online without building a shop from scratch, and gives shoppers one place to discover and buy from stores near them.
Why we built it
Plenty of small businesses already sell online, but they do it through message threads, comment sections and screenshots. Orders get lost, prices get repeated over and over, and there is no single place a customer can look to see what is actually available.
Vendio gives those businesses a proper storefront and a real order flow, and puts them together in a marketplace so shoppers have one place to look.
For vendors
- A storefront you can set up yourself, with your own name, description, colours and images.
- Product listings with pricing, categories, stock tracking and photos.
- Orders in one place, with a clear status for each one as it moves from confirmed to fulfilled.
- Pickup, delivery or both — you choose what you offer, the areas you serve, and your delivery fee.
- Team members you can invite, with permissions that control what each person can do.
For shoppers
- One marketplace for browsing local stores instead of hunting across social media.
- Search and category filters to find a store or a product quickly.
- A checkout that works whether you have an account or are ordering as a guest.
- Pickup or delivery, depending on what the store offers.
- Order updates as the store prepares and completes your order.
Where we are
Vendio is built for Trinidad and Tobago first. Prices are shown in Trinidad and Tobago dollars, delivery areas are set by the stores themselves, and payment happens the way local businesses already take it — cash or card on delivery, or bank transfer, arranged directly between you and the store.
Vendio is early and still being built. We would rather ship a small number of things that work properly than advertise features that do not exist yet.
